Osteopathy

Osteopaths recognise that each person and their injury is unique. In turn, Osteopathy’s strength is in the way each patient is assessed from a mechanical, functional and postural manner, resulting in a tailored treatment approach for each person.

The primary focus of treatment is on the joints, nerves, muscles and tendons.

A combination of hands on manual therapy, stretching, dry needling, rehabilitation and lifestyle changes are then applied for best results.

Dry Needling

Based on trigger point theory, Dry Needling technique aims to release deeply held tight bands of muscle by the application of a very fine acupuncture needle. Often a local twitch response indicates the release of the trigger point.

Rehabilitation

Tailored exercises are used to build strength and relieve pain.
