  • Each person and injury is unique as is the timeline for recovery. Your Osteopath will examine/ address the barriers to recovery such as ergonomics, stress, posture and training technique to ensure a complete recovery in a timely manner.

  • Osteopathy is a mainstream registered health profession that aims to restore function and movement by combining hands on therapy with rehabilitation exercises and lifestyle modification.

  • Osteopathy services can be accessed by Medicare through the Enhance Primary Care Plan/ Chronic Disease Managment Plan provided by your GP. Five Osteopathic sessions subsidised by Medicare for each calendar year. Speak to your doctor to see if you are eligible.

  • As a registered health profession, Osteopathy attracts rebates for private health insurance depending on your level of cover. Speak with your private health insurance to access Osteopathy services.

  • You do not require a referral to see an Osteopath. Often health professionals will refer to an Osteopath.

  • Osteopaths often use manual therapy techniques such as deep tissue massage and so access to the skin and muscle will be required. A gown will be provided. Most patients often bring shorts.

  • Central Chalmers Street stop is 100 meters from the Surry Hills clinic.

  • Surry Hills

    The clinic is easily accessible by public transport. Bus, train and light rail stops within only metres of the clinic. Often parking can be found nearby on Buckingham and Cooper Street in Surry Hills.

    Derby Street car park is directly across the road from the Kogarah clinic. Curent cost is $4 for 1-2 hours.
